The Biography of Draven Van Tor:

Draven awoke in a haze and disoriented. The last he remembered was stepping into a portal. As he got up from the ground he realized that this was not the body he was accustomed to. Where were his wings, his claws, his tail ???  This ... this was a human body. As he surveyed the landscape around him he soon realized that he was no longer on his home world. This was not Avatar and he was no longer a Dragon!! The shock of this buckled his knees and he feel back to the ground. He must think what went wrong?? Then it came to him " I will cast another portal and return to my home and my former body!" He jumped back to his feet and began to chant, but he soon learned that although he remembered the magic he could not cast it. Nothing happened only a fizzle.. He sat back down to ponder his predicament. He decided that if there was any hope of returning to his home world, that he would have to explore this world that he was on. So he got to his feet and began his journey.

He traveled the countryside learning as much as he could. He found out the name of the world was Sosaria and the main continent was Britannia. It contained many Cities and towns and he tried to visit them all. Along the way he sought out those that claimed to have magic. He learned as much as he could from each one before moving on. He also ran into many wandering healers and also tried to learn from them. He plied what had learned as oft as he could afford. Because in this world spells required reagents to be
able to cast them and those were costly if bought from a vendor. He soon found a dungeon the locals called "Shame" where he could practice his craft and make a little money to boot. The dungeon was filled with creatures that were called Earth elementals and Scorpions. As he used his magic it grew in strength and the knowledge of healing came in handy also. He also found another dungeon called "Destard" that was filled with Dragons!! He soon found out that these were not kindred spirits, but bloodthirsty beasts.
Although they wielded strong magic they seemed to be mad and attacked anything that got near them.

It wasn't long after that that he was fighting back in Shame. When a group of Warriors came riding through. They were all wearing the insignia of LSD on their uniforms. They greeted Draven and asked if he would like to join them in the Brotherhood. They told him they were members of a Guild called the Lost Soldiers of Darkness. They explained to him what he needed to do and what was required if he wished to join. Draven told them he wasn't sure and that he would need to think about it. He studied the materials offered and decided that he would apply. He was soon contacted by Timid and brought before Barnes and Acacia. He was asked several question as to his intent with the Guild and then told that he would be contacted again. Soon afterwards he was asked to join them in a Guild meeting at their tower.  Where he learned that he had been accepted into the Guild and was now considered a member. He was happy there and progressed through the ranks to Lancer, but at that point he had to leave his Brothers and Sisters. A young lady had caught his attention and Draven felt he couldn't devote himself to both Her and the Guild. While away from the Guild, Draven continued to practice his magic and healing, eventually gaining the title Grandmaster.  Many months had past since he had been part of the Guild. When one day he ran into a man wearing the LSD insignia  and began to chat with him. Memories came flooding back and he had a longing to return to the Guild, to his friends and the comradery. So he returned to the Guild and brought with him the young Lady that had stolen his heart. Shortly after his return he found that trouble was brewing and the one brewing it was the Soul Seeker. He held
Cadmus Fane in a nightmarish state taunting him and poisoning his body.  Trying to corrupt him and turn him against those of LSD. Draven vowed that he would use what resources he had available to him, to help free Cadmus and any others that the Soul Seeker sought to corrupt.
