After-Meeting News
Admin  Monday, March 11, 2002

Another Sunday, Another Meeting.....lol

At the beginning of the meeting, when I usually throw out some stupid and lame jokes, the comments of the length of the meetings lately were made. As well as how late we tend to start. All I have to say is, although my promise of a 30 minute meeting was broken, it was under an hour. :P

I'd like to acknowldge that everyone has been great in being to the meetings on time, even tho the High Council Members often cause the meeting to start late. It's much appreciated.

With our current numbers, most of the HC meetings consist of going thru the roster and checking for available promotions. This takes up alot of time. I'm going to work with Lothar and see if we can arrange something so that it no longer interferes with the meeting.

As always, Hpz_Erotica has done the meeting minutes. You can view that on our forums to see what was discussed and who was promoted each week.

Even tho she's done a great job this week, I'm going to announce and congratulate the members on their promotions. I also have some errors to fix in regards to that.

Initiates to Page
Flea
(Flea had to leave early, I missed her promotion, my apologies)
Orgazmo

Page to Squire
Russell
Sable
(Sable was absent due to account problems, but had contacted me on icq.)

Squire to Lancer
Mazrim
Jesica
Will

Special Promotions

Due to his activity on the forums, and most especially with stories and poems, Squire Russell has been given the title of Bard of LSD. He joins Hpz_Erotica in this unique group of storytellers in our guild. Congratulations Russell, Job Well Done!

We have a new initiate, Folks. Or, rather if we, the HC, were on the ball we would. O'Gorman has applied, been interviewed, and accepted into our guild. He was at last nights meeting. Everyone welcome him to the guild and show him what we're all about. Make sure to give him icq contacts for the guild, so that each of us can contact him and help him along.

Members Area Private Access Problems
Admin  Saturday, March 9, 2002

Well, many of you have had problems with the members area and access to it. I've gone back and forth fixing probs. Finally, I got tired of it....it was sort of a pain knowing what was wrong but not being able to fix it.

So....I put in a new script.

You can read more about it Here.

Okies......

Added in Events Calendar. Need to make the color scheme uniform to the rest of the website, but other than that it's working perfectly.
Users can add in events and they will be put in a pending status.

Either myself or CoS will approve the event and it will then go on the calendar. Users will be able to edit/delete their own events. Mess around with it...seems to have good functionality.

Also, the Automated script for the Moongem system is 99% completed. I need to, again, make it uniform to the rest of the website, have the inventory entered, and link it to the existing pages. This will go a long way in easing the use of the moongem system. When you see an item you like, you choose to buy it (it's your usual shopping cart system), then "checkout" and the items will drop off the list. Then, Barnes will recieve the email and negotiate transfer of the item(s).

The Memorial for Richard C. Smith has been taken down, but if anyone wishes a copy of the poem or memorial coding, let me know. I saved it to a text file.

That's it for now, Take Care.

Alright :)

Well, the patch server was down late last night, people couldn't get ingame. (Some of were......and NO LAG!! Woot!!)

But, since I could see I wouldn't be needed ingame, I decided to logout and work on the site some.

Here's the changes:

All pages should match as for background and color scheme.

Lord Lothars Biography is up. Click on his name down where the division leaders are listed. Hopefully we'll see bios from other leaders soon.

The Pic of the Week has finally been changed.....damn that last one was a looooonnnnngggg week. :P

Still working on the Moongem System pages, but by Sunday, you will be able to view the items in treasury and how much each are worth in Moongems. Hopefully, barring anymore senseless delays, we will announce the opening of the system and begin to keep track of all donations, giving moongem points to each member that donates. I'm also still working on the automation script that will allow members to "order" items in treasury and have those items immediately drop off the stock list.

That's it for now.....Take care!
