Day of Rememberance Lothar  Wednesday, September 11, 2002 This day one year ago I shall never forget, not because I'm an American. Nor was it that it made every one of us worry of another attack, stopping our way of life. That should go unsaid. The reason I shall remember is because it happened to my city. I was born and raised in NYC, in Manhattan only a few miles up from where the WTC stood, and I was there that summer it happened. I was a 25 minute train ride away. That day shall always been etched into my brain as the worst disaster I have ever witnessed first hand, and the longest day in my life. Not everyone may have been as close as I was when it occured, but the day the two towers crashed, I may have actually felt it, but everyone in this country did too. The words Taliban, Al Queda, and Afganistan became everyday words, but so did one other word... Freedom. Don't ever foreget.

Guild Happenings Lothar  Tuesday, September 10, 2002 The Roster has been updated as of today (9/10/02). Our New Initiate Krom, who had did the impossible last night at Barnes' event (see Picture of the Week for more Info), as well as everyone who received Promotions this weekend. Congrats to Rekoj and Billy for their Promotions to Knight Master. They have both begun HC Training for Commander and Duke respectively. Sadly, while we welcome new faces, and new leaders, we must say goodbye to others. WarKnight Morning Star and Initiate Insatia are both leaving the realm for personal reasons. I am deeply saddened just like many other members for this loss. Good luck you two with whatever you decide to do. Radar has also spoke of moving IRL to a new kickin' house, but it also means his time in UO will decrease. He is not leaving, but he might be moving to Elder status, but as you know, being an Elder doesn't mean you go poof! (I'm still here and don't intend to go away, and neither does Radar) ;) Additionally, Billy with his Training for Duke will be assiting Radar in updating the Events Calander. Please be sure to Contact him or Radar if you wish to plan an event. Like I mentioned before, The Pictures of the Week in the Top Right corner of your browers has been updated with a new pic. Sadly to Org, it got replaced with his 2nd death (and 3rd not pictured). Go take a look. Roster Page Modification Lothar  Wednesday, September 4, 2002 I noticed when I was resizing the window of my browser while on the Roster page, the frame that the roster appeared inside shrunk to a size where only 4 members were able to be viewed at one time, and you'd need to scroll down, even if your window size could see much more. This was extremely annoying to me, and probably some of you. So I decided to redo the whole thing. Instead of having a html file inside a frame of another html file, I just combined the two into one file, so this won't happen. Minor tech stuff, but I was quite pleased with myself figuring it out, hehe. Anyways, should be better now for everyone. This does take me a bit longer to update the roster, but oh well! If you have any probs with any part of this website, don't hesistate to email me. I'd like to know any problems you might encounter that I'm sure I've missed. ~Loth

Website Update Lothar  Monday, September 2, 2002 Well I've been away for about two weeks because of a nasty cold (which I still somewhat have) and schoolwork (getting close to finals again). The Guild Roster is now up to date, added 8 new members, as well as noted the return of Squire Cadmus Fane. Welcome Back Bro! Also updated Divisional Leaders section for front page, and all other pages with our new Commander, Heftiger. Congrats! Apparently Org is tired of seeing his dead corpse which Barnes' horse is stepping on, so send in those Screenshots to Lothar@LSDarkness.com. ~Loth
