Earlier this month, Ray-Ban launched its customizable sunglasses program, Ray-Ban Remix. It’s a dream for the iconic brand’s loyal clientele: you choose the model, material, size, lens color, etc., and in about five days you have personalized Ray-Ban glasses at your doorstep. ($ 130 each). True to its Remix theme, the brand called on a team of artists, including comedian Nicholas Megalis, DJ Harley Viera-Newton and director / photographer Tasya Van Ree, to reinterpret each other’s work.
The common thread running through all of the pieces, of course, is that they all feature Ray-Ban Remix eyewear. We’ve got an exclusive first look at one of the remixed GIFs, by artists Reed and Rader, and blogger Audrey Kitching. Each participant will officially reveal all their artist collaborations on their social networks.
Try your hand at designing your own Ray Ban glasses on the new online portal.
