CHINA. The eyewear house Luxottica Group has joined forces with the DFS group for the exclusive worldwide pre-launch of the “Prada special project for Asian sunglasses” collection.
The range is available at DFS Group’s downtown T Galleria stores in Hong Kong and Macau, ahead of a global launch in February.
This is the fourth consecutive time that the eyewear specialist and the tour operator have teamed up to present a world exclusive Prada preview.
The Prada Special Project for Asia sunglasses collection is available in black and rose gold.
The collection is designed to suit Asian characteristics and includes large metal frames, adjustable nose pads, and oversized lenses.
“The Prada Special Project Asia pre-launch collaboration, the fourth consecutive execution of its kind, is a reflection of our long-standing partnership with DFS,” said Enrico Destro, Director of Luxottica Global Travel Retail.
“At Luxottica, we recognize the importance of the Asia-Pacific region in the growth of the category and strive to meet the ever-changing demands and needs of our traveling customers.
The collection’s integrated marketing campaign will run throughout the holiday season in the Asia-Pacific travel retail business. It also features prominently in DFS Group’s lightboxes and on its website and social media channels, as part of the travel retailer’s extensive Lunar New Year activities.
In addition to this, customers will also receive a Prada clutch as an exclusive gift with in-store purchase.
As reported, the DFS Group is celebrating Lunar New Year 2020, the Year of the Rat, with a series of promotions, exclusive offers and activities in downtown T Galleria stores and airports around the world through ‘to February 16.
