New Look’s £10 sunglasses are almost identical to the £350 Prada pair

New Look shoppers can now get their hands on a must-have pair of sunglasses this summer for a fraction of the price.

This season, Instagram influencers and A-list celebrities have donned Prada’s Symbol sunglasses. The bold rectangular frame, last popular in the 1990s, has seen a resurgence among the fashion conscious.

These Prada sunglasses are made of a combination of layers of acetate highlighted by contrasting colors on the edges of the lenses. The standout feature of these sunglasses is on the temples, where a three-dimensional interpretation of the traditional Prada triangle logo is placed.

The Symbol sunglasses are currently on sale for £350 and while many will see them as an investment, those who don’t want to pay the designer price have the opportunity to be duped by New Look.

For the summer, New Look has released its version of “thin rectangular frame sunglasses”. Priced at £9.99, they feature rectangular frames and black tinted lenses.

They are also made from recycled plastic as part of New Look’s “Kind Styles”, which are responsibly sourced and kinder to the planet. The high-street retailer sells the sunglasses in black, dark brown tortoiseshell and a light brown tortoiseshell print shade.

Where to buy the sunglasses:
